In the Spitting Image wiki, we aim to create an extensive guide to the British satirical puppet show that aired on the ITV network from 1984 to 1996, created by Peter Fluck and Roger Law.
During its thirteen year run, many public figures were scathingly satirised through the talents of numerous writers, voice artists and crew, via the television show, books, albums, singles and various merchandise.
The intention of this wiki is to eventually create a full and thorough guide to all things Spitting Image.
Regarding transmission dates, there is a fair amount of conflict between sources. For the sake of consistency, I've decided to use the dates from the Wikipedia page, which appears to combine the dates and series structure of the DVD releases with the structure of the as-yet-released later series.
The Rubber Thingies project is a non-profit, voluntary organisation dedicated to creating an extensive archive about the television series Spitting Image, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The Cartoon Museum in London will be holding an exhibition of Spitting Image puppets and other rarities from February 26th, celebrating the 30th anniversary! Details here - http://www.cartoonmuseum.org/exhibitions/future-exhibitions
